Aged Caroline Man Is Taken By Death

Son Arrives at Bedside After Long Journey to Home of Dying Father

The pain of death was lessened for Albert Ebert, of Caroline when his long absent son, Dr. E. C. Ebert of the United States Navy arrived at the bedside shortly before the end came.

His son is a surgeon in the United States Navy, and formerly was stationed in Haiti, but has recently been transferred to Navel Headquarters at Washington D.C. Dr. Reinhold Ebert, an eye surgeon at New York City Hospital, did not arrive until after his father's death.
Albert Ebert was 72 years old at the time of his death. He was born in Germany but spent practically all his life in Shawano county.

He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters. The sons are Dr. E. C. Ebert, Dr. Reinhold Ebert and Alfred Ebert. The daughters are Fredia and Hildegard. The funeral was held at the Evangical church at Marion on Sunday, Dec. 23.
