Julius HANNEMAN

Shawano County Journal

6 Mar 1885

A most distressing accident occurred last Monday in the town of Washington. Mr. JULIUS HANNEMANN, one of the proprietors of the mill near Cecil, fell backwards on to the circular saw, which was running at the time and was nearly sawed in two. Death was instantaneous. No one was present at the time he fell, so that it is not known exactly how the accident occurred when found the saw had cut through the back bone and had mangled the body terribly. The deceased was well known in Shawano and the eastern part of the county and was highly respected by everyone. He leaves a wife and 4 children who have the sympathy of the public in this their time of affliction.
