Huebner, Johann passed away last Friday evening, 27 September after a lengthy illness.  He had suffered with chest pains for about three years, until about four weeks ago when his suffering became unbearable to the end.  He was born in Pommern, in the Kreis of Stolpe and came to America many years ago, settling in Town Howe.  He married Bertha Sieloff here and had six children of which two are already dead.  Four sons, Otto, Paul, Johann and Hugo survive.  The youngest is thirteen years old.  Mr. Huebner reached the age of fifty-eight years.  He was a good husband and father and enjoyed their respect.  On Sunday afternoon his remains were buried in the Lutheran Cemetery with pastor Plass officiating.  The pallbearers were Fritz Schuettpelz, Herman and Johann Kolberg, Leo Hischke, Albert Jeske and Wilhelm Schezow.
