Cordula Clara Anna Busch Jensen, 90, of Bonduel, Wis., passed away on Jan. 4, 2013, at Birch Hill Care Center in Shawano.

Cordula was born June 20, 1922, in Rio Grande de Sol, Brazil, to Rev. John and Linda (Schneider) Busch. She attended school in Arlington, Minn. and graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. In 1942, she moved to San Diego, Calif., to work at Consolidated Aircraft. She married Raymond CH Jensen in San Diego, Feb. 13, 1943. After the war, they together operated a paint and wallpaper business in Bonduel, for many years. Upon retirement they moved to a cabin in the woods near Crivitz, Wis., only returning to the Bonduel area in recent years.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, town of Washington and spent her lifetime actively involved in numerous Lutheran church groups and projects, especially those connected to mission work.

Her love of bird watching was evident in her wild bird décor at home. She had a beautifully delicate hand when creating her needlework for family and friends. She was especially generous with her time in visiting friends and family.

Cordula is survived by her children, Lynda (Lee) Jaloszynski, Athelstane, Wis.; Cor-Rae (Bruce) Petri, Ellicott City, Md.; Greg (Kathy), Fond du Lac; Mark, Bonduel; sisters, Elsie (Richard) Gruenewald, Bonduel; Esther (Irvin) Gartland, Stevens Point; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church Town of Washington (W4496 Cnty Rd E, Bonduel) with Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Family and friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington, Minn., on Jan. 9, 2013.

Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil, is assisting the family.

The family wishes to fondly acknowledge the very kind and compassionate care given to their mother by the staff at Birch Hill Care Center, where she resided for two years.
