WELLHAVEN. Mr. ED. JOHNSON, of the town of Maple Grove, died at the home of his parents at noon last Sunday, March 27th. Mr. Johnson was an exemplary young man beloved by all who knew him and respected by all who came in contact with him. He leaves a large circle of friends that will forever cherish his memory. We, his friends, take this opportunity to tender our most sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. Mrs. Johnson made her husband, Thorwald Johnson, a present of a plump baby girl March 28th, as a consolation for the loss of their son Ed. Mother and child doing well. The funeral of the late Mr. Johnson took place March 30th. That Mr. Johnson was very popular was evident from the host of mourners who followed his remains to "Vor Freisers Menighed's Cemetery," where the interment took place under the supervision of Rev. A. Petterson, who performed the obsequies.
