Mark L. Ziereis, age 53 years, of Embarrass, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at his home.
Mark Loren Ziereis was born June 27, 1959 at the Clintonville Hospital to Richard and Agnes (Giese) Ziereis. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1977. Mark was united in marriage in the early 1980's to Karen Paul at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Clintonville. He was first employed at Peterson Built in Embarrass for several years. Then Mark started working as an insulator which he did for many years, doing mostly commercial insulating for different HVAC companies. He is a former member of St. Rose Catholic Church. In his younger years, he enjoyed scuba diving and deer hunting. More recently his interests were fishing this area's rivers and lakes. Mark liked working on his car and especially loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher and Joseph Ziereis, both of Green Bay, and his parents, Richard and Agnes Ziereis of Embarrass. There are three sisters and three brothers: Cathe (fiancÚ John Fischer) Ziereis of Clintonville, Richard (Natasha) Ziereis of Helena, MT, Terry Ziereis of Clintonville, John (Beth) Ziereis of Embarrass, Donna (Craig) Ford of Clintonville, and Karen Ziereis of Denver, CO. He is further survived by 9 nieces & nephews, 9 great nieces & great nephews, many other relatives and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, a niece, Katie, and a nephew, Michael.
The family will hold a private memorial service on Friday, May 24th at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Deacon Lincoln Wood, St. Rose Pastoral Leader, will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Rose Cemetery in Clintonville. Online condolences may be sent via www.beil-didier.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Memory of Mark to the Embarrass Fire Department.
