The Taylor County Genealogical Society was organized in 1995, uniting genealogists into one group.

The purpose of the Taylor County Genealogical Society is to promote genealogy and to enable members to assist each other in individual pursuits.

The Taylor County Genealogical Society does not conduct genealogical research, but is happy to help researchers who are conducting their own research locate the materials they need.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except June, July and August.  The meetings are held in the large conference room of the Frances L. Simek Memorial Library, Medford, Wisconsin at 7:00 p.m.
(Meeting time and room location are subject to change, please check the
program schedule for the most up-to-date information.)
Special genealogical information is presented at meetings to assist members in their own genealogy work.
