Joannis Grueber & Maria Walburga Mayinger had at least two sons as follows:

Joseph Gruber, b: March 13, 1799 Itzing, Bavaria, Germany was married to Maria Anna Unger b: 1805. They had five children, Michael b: 1826, Marianna b: 1828, Frank Joseph b: 1829, Maria Theresia b: 1831 and Valburge b:1832. We don't know if this family came to the United States or stayed in Germany.

Anton Gruber, b: August 2, 1800 Itzing, Bavaira, Germany was married to Katherina Schuh b: in Mohern Barvaira, Germany. They had ten children, four of which; Maria Anna b: Aug 27, 1827, Walburga b: Jan 7, 1832, Johann b: October 20, 1833, and Thomas b: February 10, 1843, came to America (New York) aboard the Ship Augusta on August 20, 1852 from Bremen, Germany. The family moved to the Township of Addison, Washington Co., WI where Anton died March 17, 1865.

Johann Gruber married Franziska Binder Katzenberger b: March 8, 1848 in Monheim, Bavaria, Germany, on November 1, 1864, in Township of Wayne, Washington Co., WI. They had twelve children who were born in Town of Addison, Washington Co., WI: Maria Ida b: June 27, 1865, Johann b: 0ct 13, 1866, Anton b: July 27, 1868, Joseph b: Aug 29, 1870, Maria b: April 20, 1872, Albert b: December 12, 1874, Peter b: March 23, 1877, Rosa b: Jan 21, 1879, Magdalena b: March 18, 1881, Elizabeth b: November 18, 1882, Michael b: October 25, 1888, and Charles b: June 27, 1891. They adopted Elizabeth b: 1895.

My grandfather was Anton Gruber b: July 27, 1868 who married Magdalena (Lena) Anna Yogerst b: January 17, 1878 on January 9, 1901 in Town of Addison, Washington Co., WI, and they had seven children: Mathias, Anton, John, Margaret, Joseph, Olive, and Roman (my father).
