Washington County Families
Publications
A publication of the Freistadt Historical Society, ISBN
number 0-9622699-0-5 is now available. This book was done in
1989 for the 150th anniversary at Trinity Freistadt. It
gives a good history of the church, why the Old Lutherans
came and who they were.
There are quite a few letters from people of that time also.
The book is especially nice
because it also covers the eastern end of Washington County
and some of the Lutherans who then went to Milwaukee to
found Trinity Lutheran on 9th Street.
