Mt. Pleasant Cemetery - 1863
This page of burials was very generously contributed by Donna White. She has also stated the following information that she has found in her research. "Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, south of Wild Rose was once called the Standalone Cemetery. From what I understand, there was once a church there. The people that attended the church didn't believe in the other churches so they started their own. They believed that everyone could believe whatever they wanted to believe - so they stood alone. They did apparently believe in God, but their meetings were very spirited affairs."
