Leah's Fabric Gallery
I just started working at Leah's Fabric Gallery, Mission Viejo, CA this past summer.
I am currently the host of the Redwork Club. It meets once a month and for ONLY $1.00
you get some great patterns. The evening consists of show and tell, a short demo, and
working on projects of our choice. It is a great way to get out and meet fellow Redwork
enthusiasts and see what they are doing. Here is a sample of what you can do:
I also host the Fuzzy Slippers Nite, which is FREE!!! Four hours 8-midnight, usually the fourth Friday
night of the month. We bring snacks to share, do show and tell, and work on
those UFO's that are dying to be completed.
I have taught two classes using the Ricky Timms Harmonic Convergence technique.
It is a linear quilt, and if you have your piecing techniques honed, should only take 3-4 hours to finish
the top. The finished size of the quilt is 30 X 30.5. If you come down to the store, you could see
the quilt below - More examples with the class.
To get to Leah's, take the 5 Freeway and exit on Avery. If you are north bound, turn right. If you are south bound,
turn left. Leah's is on the left hand side, in a mini-mall on the northwest corner of Margarette and Avery.
