"Minnie
Kuehl dies at 106: "Wood County's oldest resident, Mrs.
Minnie Kuehl, 106 died at 6:10 this morning at Bethel
Convalescent Home, Arpin, where she had lived for about the past
eight years. "A native of Germany, she came to this country
at the age of 6 and her family settled in Juneau, Dodge County.
After her marriage to Herman Kuehl in 1893, they moved to a small
farm on the south side of Wisconsin rapids. Her husband died in
1915 and Mrs. Kuehl moved to 1251 McKinley St. in Wisconsin
Rapids. she lived with a son for 15 years before moving to the
nursing home at Arpin in 1965. "Mrs Kuehl was born Feb. 10,
1867 at Stargard Kreis Pieritz, Pomerania. "Funeral
arrangements are pending at Ritchay Funeral Home, Wisconsin
rapids. More complete obituary information will be carried in
Saturday's Daily Tribune."

"Services
for Mrs Minnie Kuehl, 106, Bethel Convalescent Home, Arpin, who
died at 6:10 a.m. Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the
Moravian Church. Death resulted from complications of old age.
"The Rev. Aden Ward will officiate at the services and
burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. "Surviving are a
son, William Kuehl, Wisconsin Rapids; a stepson, the Rev. Henry
A. Kuehl, Pennsylvania; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Radloff,
Orange, Mass.; a brother, Emil Radtke, Lake Mills; five
grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a great-
great-grandchild. "Friends may call at ..."
