This is our newest Branch, formed in September 2000. Branch Meetings are held at 6.30 p.m., normally on the second Tuesday of each month from January to June and September to November - there is no meeting in August. All meetings are held in the Staff Room at Blackwood Comprehensive School, Cefn Fforest (see the map below).

The meetings, open to members and visitors alike, normally alternate each month between a Members' Research and Problem Solving Workshop, and a talk of interest to those either beginning their research or wishing to broaden their knowledge of family history, or on a topic of local historical interest.
