Speaker: Martin Eve - Thomas Hardy and Captain Thomas Hardy

Talk about the research done by the speaker over a number of years, recording it using Family Tree Maker and other internet resources,
and his possible connection with Thomas Hardy and Sir Thomas Masterman Hardy. (Flag Captain to Admiral Lord Nelson)

Radnorshire Group Meetings

All meetings are held at Llanddewi Ystradenny Village Hall at 7-00pm, Free parking on-site

NO Meetings in July and August.

Thursday 16th February 2012 - Talk by Lloyd Lewis (Former Editor of Cronicl)

A walk through the Elan and Claerwen valleys, to find the farms affected by the flooding in 1904.
Together with a large number of photographs prior to 1900 and more recent ones showing the exposed foundations when the water levels dropped.
Each farm has been researched and their details recorded from the mid 1500s.

 

All meetings are held on the last Thursday in the month
