1687 List of Soldiers in Esopus

"A List of the Fottman [footmen] of Capten Tomas Gersones Company"

Contributed by Mike Holland

from the 2nd Annual Report of the New York State Historian, pgs. 449-450

Note by webmaster: Many pioneer families in Randolph County were descendants of the Dutch colonist of New Amsterdam (New York). Esopus is now known as Kingston, Ulster Co., NY.  I have not corrected spellings but have capitalized the first letter of names written in lower case.
