Boyd Darl Ware

Boyd Darl Ware, 67, of Audra Road, Belington, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, in Decatur, Tenn., following an extended illness.
He was born May 5, 1937, at Belington, a son of the late Lorenzy Wilbert and Veroniscia Mabel McCauley Ware.
On June 30, 1957, he married the former Emma Lou Weese, who preceded him in death April 10, 1992.
Surviving are one daughter, Emma Darlene “Winkle” Farris and husband, Dan, of Decatur, Tenn.; three sons, Darl Lee Ware and wife, Carol, of Woodland, Pa., Wilbert “Pokey” Ware and wife, Sandy, of Decatur, Tenn., and Vernon Dale “Squeak” Ware and wife, Lynn, of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; one brother, Stanley Delmas Ware and wife, Ruby, of Belington; special friends, Bob and Ruth Ann Moore and family of Belington; an aunt, Wanda Mitchell of Belington; an uncle, Woodrow McCauley of Elkins; a special nephew, Christopher D. Ware, of Parksville, Md.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wilbert Eldon Ware, and one grandson, Jeremy Dewight Ware.
Mr. Ware was a retired lumber sorter and was a former employee of Ware Sawmill and Dingess Lumber Co. He was Pentecostal by faith and was always willing to help neighbors and strangers alike who were in need of help.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Ave., Belington, at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Destry Daniels and the Rev. David A. Brady officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday. Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
