Samuel F. Ware

Samuel F. Ware, 84, a resident of Junior, died at 2:37 a.m. Monday, in the Memorial General Hospita following an extended illness.

He was born May 9, 1893, in Barbour County, a son of the late Peter and Henrietta Williams Ware.

On April 6, 1913, he married Flossie Mae Swick, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are five sons; Theodore, Kermit, Denzil and Gerald Ware, all of Rt. 1, Belington; Otis Ware, Atglen, Pa.; four daughters; Mrs. Harley (Zelma) Vanscoy, Norton, Miss Thelma Ware, at home, Mrs. Austin (Anne) Blake Jr. of Junior, Mrs. Charles (Emma Jean) McKenney, Etters, Pa.; 33 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Ware was a retired employee of Lipscomb Coal Company and a member of the Ware Chapel Church of Christ.

Friends may call at the J. B. Runner Funeral Home in Belington from 3 to 9 p.m. today.   Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Skip Andrews officiating.   Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.   Mr. Ware requested before his death that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Heart Fund.
