Berkeley County, West Virginia Biography of George W. FULK

         George W. FULK, son of Aaron and Ellen (Smurr) Fulk, was a resident of the Opequon district. He was born October 25, 1854, to parents who were also natives of the state. The Fulk family of the preceding generations were among the earliest settlers of this section of the country.

         On February 26, 1880, at Sprinkles, Berkeley County, George W. Fulk and Martha Byers, born in that county on April 30, 1862, were married. Her parents were William and Sarah C. (Wilhelm) Byers, both born in Berkeley County and both deceased by 1884. George W. and Ellen Fulk had a son, William, November 21, 1880-?.

         George W. Fulk was a farmer with a mailing address of Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
