Berkeley County West Virginia Biography of John H. FULK


         John H. FULK, born in Berkeley County, West Virginia September 6, 1853, a son of Aaron and Ellen (Smurr) Fulk, natives of that county. On February 11, 1875, John H. Fulk married Catherine Tellers in that county. Miss Tellers was born in Berkeley County on October 31, 1852, the daughter of John and Maria (Oliver) Fellers, residents of Jefferson County. Note: Article gave his wife’s last name as Tellers, but listed her parents as Fellers.

         The children of John H. and Catherine Fulk were Nellie M. Fulk, born December 23, 1875-?; Mary P. Fulk, February 18, 1877-March 4, 1877; Andrew Fulk, March 4 1878-?; Aaron Fulk, December 30, 1880-December 20, 1881; and Charles A. Fulk, October 18,  1881-?.

         John H. Fulk was engaged in farming in Van Clevesville, Arden district, Berkeley County, West Virginia.
