National Archives under Lewis Wintz's
military/pension records, as it was submitted as
proof of his birth when his pension application was
submitted. The Wintz/Wentz family was from Cabell
County.
I obtained a photocopy of this page out of the

William Wentz was bornd the 1 day of March in the year of
our Lord 1821.
Elizabeth Wentz was bornd the 25 of day of november in the
year of our Lord 1823.
Margaret Wentz was bornd the 17 day of feburary in the
year of our Lord 1825.
Sarah Wentz was bornd the 30 day of August in the year of
our Lord 1830.
John Wentz was bornd the 1 day of December in the year of
our Lord 1831.
Lewas Wentz was bornd the 4 day of September in the year
of our Lord 1840.
William Lewis Wince was born the May 21st, 1850 {can't
read the rest of the line}.
Joseph O. Colins was born March the 30th 186? {can't read
the 4th digit of the year due to where page was torn}.
