Ora Ann Cooper
Ora Ann Cooper, 88, of Milton W.Va., went to be with her
Lord on Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999 at her residence. Funeral
services were conducted Monday, Sept. 20, 1999 at the Chestnut
Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Clark officiating.
Burial in the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Milton
W.Va. A daughter of the late Lee and Etta Holley Blake, she was
born Nov. 5, 1910 in Milton, WV. She was a retired cook for the
Cabell County Board of Education. She worked 19 years at Milton
High School. She was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church
since 1926. She loved and helped everyone. She was also preceded
in death by her husband, Boyd Cooper on Nov. 17, 1974; seven
brothers, one sister, and three grandsons, Victor, Stephen and
Doug Cooper. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law,
Clyde and Carolyn Cooper of Milton, W.Va, and Boyd M. Cooper of
Worthington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Veronica, Eddie, Mark,
Michelle, and Tonya; five great-grandchildren, and many more
friends and loved ones. Heck Funeral Home, Milton, was in charge
of arrangements.
