BONNIE LOUISE HENDERSHOT, 46, of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, April 23, 2004 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born May 6, 1957, she was the daughter of Phyllis and Johnny Johnson of Gallipolis. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Al Hendershot; four brothers, Jesse, Matt, Paul and John Johnson; and one sister, Rose Johnson. Bonnie was co-founder of COMAR, Inc., a West Virginia-based magazine publishing firm that founded and publishes <I>West Virginia Executive</I> magazine, where she served as co-publisher, chief operating officer and editor-in-chief since the company was founded in 1996. She was an amazing spirit who inspired many lives through her untouchable energy. As a loving wife, sister, businesswoman, devoted friend and inspiring mentor, Bonnie encouraged all to savor the beauty of life and live it to its fullest. Hendershot had a deep love of the arts and celebrated the arts in dance and was the founder of Moon Wolf Gallery in Charleston. Her true love was the written word, and she believed life was meant to be a learning experience. Her quest for knowledge never wavered, even in her final days. She also enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, roller blading and fine literature. A viewing will be held Sunday, April 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Reger Funeral Home, 1242 Adams Ave., Huntington, 25704. A memorial service will be Monday, April 26, at 1 p.m. at Reger Funeral Chapel. Respects can be sent to the funeral home.
