From US 60 at Barboursville take Main Street to Martha Road,
which will be a right turn at the second red light, and go to the Senior Center.
The center is on the left and across the street from
the elementary school and before the railroad underpass.
Turn left into the driveway beside the Senior Center and go down to the
Barboursville Little League baseball
field. The cemetery is on the bank on the 3rd base side of the field.
It is overgrown and not maintained.

Notes
There were two tombstone inscriptions recorded in 1948 for John Merritt Cemetery. One, which was described as a large new stone, is the same tombstone shown above and the only one
remaining. The other stone was recorded as follows:
