Mrs. NANCY BELL (BOWLING) HUGGINS, 56, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Lavalette, W.Va., was called to go home with Jesus October 3, 2004, after a brief illness. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2004, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, by Pastor Jerry Frye. Burial will be in Sifford Cemetery, Huntington. She was born July 27, 1948, in Huntington, W.Va. A daughter of the late Ada Sifford and Rufus (Charley) Boling of Florida. She was employed as a Customer Service Manager of Wal-Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Phillip "Buck" Bowling and a brother, Billy Boling. Survivors include her loving husband, William (Bill) Huggins; two daughters, Melisa Williamson of North Carolina and Laura Scarberry of Lavalette; a stepdaughter, Renea Tillman of North Carolina; a son, Brian Bowling of Lavalette; one sister, Sandra Lemen; three brothers, Bobby Boling of Florida, Butch and Louie Boling of West Virginia; two step-grandchildren, Cynthia and Wendy Floyd of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Ashley Scarberry of Lavalette, Trenton Bowling of Virginia, Courtney Williamson and last but not least Montana "Shea" Gatens both of North Carolina, who has been her strength and her soul through her brief illness. Brandy Huggins at home and scores of family, friends and loved ones far too numerous to list. Pallbearers are Robert Boling (brother), Wayne Lemen (brother-in-law), Mark Scarberry (son-in-law), Chris Morris, Shawn Boling, Luke Boling, Mike Boling (nephews) and Tony Barnett (longtime family friend). Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004.
