Beverly Sue Dailey, 52, of Ona, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 12, 2001. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Carl Lilly. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. She was born December 10, 1948 in Huntington, a daughter of Renzy and Colleen Scarberry of Lesage. She was a retired secretary with the Cabell County Board of Education Central Office. She was a graduate of Marshall University and a member of Barker Ridge United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Alva E. Dailey, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Rev. James L Dailey; two daughters and one son-in-law, Monica and Mike Vanscoy of Rock Hill, South Caroline, and Myra Dailey at home; one sister, Sandy Winters and her husband, David, of Lesage; two brothers, Randy Scarberry and his wife, Debby, of Lesage, and Mike Scarberry and his wife, Tina, of Enon, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Helen Dailey of Ona; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
