Our beloved, GAYLENE DENAE "Dude" JOHNSON, 30, of Winfield, W.Va., formerly of Huntington, has gone and left us on July 18, 2004. No more will she hurt and no more will she be sad, for she is with her Father in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kylee Hope Dent; sister, Dinjua Christi Johnson; and paternal grandmother, Helen Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Tyler Hope Dent and son, Jacob Albert Dean Dent; her mother and step father, Barbara and Roy Porter of Pliny, W.Va.; her father, Gaylord Johnson of Milton, W.Va.; her sisters, Darcia Johnson and Mikell Null; nieces and nephews, Taryn, Dustin, Madison and Garrett; brother-in-law, Brian Null; paternal grandfather, Morris Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special acknowledgment to her children’s father, Eddie Dent. Gaylene was born October 14, 1973 in Philippi, W.Va., attended Hannan High School and later became an electrician. She attended Christ Temple Church where she was loved by many. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Christ Temple, Huntington, with Pastor Kevin West and Rodney Queen officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. She has mounted her wings like an eagle, she is now soaring and not weary. To my daughter, my mother, my sister, my friend, we love you and will miss you. See you in Heaven. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
