JUDY ANN HOLLAND, 53, of Ashton, W.Va., passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Chapman’s Mortuary with the Rev. Ted Nance officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery on Union Ridge Road. She was born March 14, 1950, in Glenwood, W.Va., a daughter of the late Willie J. and Bessie B. Waugh Scarberry. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Roger Holland; a sister, Ruth Mobley; and a brother-in-law, Elvin Sutphin. She graduated in 1968 from Hannah High School and had worked for M&G Polymers in Apple Grove for over 20 years. Survivors include a son, Jody L. Holland also of Ashton, W.Va.; special children, Brittney Jenkins and T. J. Brumfield of Ashton; she was the beloved sister of Linda Brannen of Beckley, W.Va., Norma Sutphin of Ona, Carol Sue Wysil of Melbourne, Fla., Billy Scarberry and wife Mary of Glenwood and Ray Scarberry of Huntington; a special sister-in-law, Eugenia Roland and family; and a host of family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
