Emma Myrtle Jordan
Emma Myrtle Jordan, 94, of Milton, WV a very
loving and caring mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, went home to be with Jesus on Monday,
Nov. 11, 2002. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday,
Nov. 13, 2002, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by
the Rev. Kim Stone. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. She
was born Sept 14, 1908, in Glenwood, W.Va., a daughter of
the late Edward and Ollie Shull Scarberry. She was also
preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jordan, a
great-granddaughter, Julianne Jordan; two brothers; and
five sisters. Survivors include two sons and
daughters-in-law, Grover and Lorene Jordan, Donald and
Joyce Jordan all of Milton; five daughters and four
sons-in-law, Lillian and James Stowasser of Hurricane,
Geraldine Webb of Lesage, Joyce and Edward Parsons of
Milton, Faye and Tommy Wilson of Milton and Janie and
Charles Hannah of Worthington, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 24
great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five
step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; a
special cousin, Sylvia Kingery; and a host of many
wonderful friends and neighbors.
