13. MERRITT (Three Pines) CEMETERY #3, Barboursville, 1 mi. E., approximately mi. S. of U. S. 60, thence mi. N. Tom's Creek Road on Joe Merritt farm.
Established 1858 or earlier as a private burial ground; no restrictions as to type and placing of markers; fenced; not landscaped; condition, fair.  One lot marked with picket fence, others unmarked; graves marked with granite slabs, morticians markers and various family markers; no burial records kept; no longer in use as burial ground as all available space taken. Marked graves, 18, unmarked graves, 23, possibly more.
