ObituaryHe was born at Jonesville, O., Mary 7, 1847. He enlisted in the Union army in 1864, at the age of 17, serving during the remainder of the war as a member of the Second Kentucky Mounted Riflemen. For many years before coming to Huntington he lived at Point Pleasant. In his active years he was a superintendent of construction. He was a widower. He leaves seven children, two sons, Frank and Eugene of Dayton, O., and five daughters, as follows: Mrs. Lyda Maxwell, of Dayton, O., Mrs. George Rhodes, of Henderson, W. Va., and Misses Louise, Catherine and Ann Carlyle of Huntington. Funeral services will be held at Henderson Monday morning. -Huntington Herald-Dispatch, Monday Morning, January 26 1925 |
