Huey Combs
Funeral servives for Huey Combs, 78 years old, Civil War veteran of Catlettsburg, who died in the Kessler-Hatfield hospital Thursday morning at 12:30 o'clock of injuries receivedwhen he was run down by a street car at Twenty-fourth street and Adams avenue Tuesday afternoon, will be conducted at the Catlettsburg Holiness church tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Catlettsburg cemetery.
Mr. Comb's death resulted after a losing fight since the accident when he had been unconscious the greater part of the time. He received a fractured skull and two fractures of his left leg. The aged veteran was on his way to visit his daughter, Mrs. Walter B. Birchfield, 1816 Jefferson avenue.
He is survived by his wife, seven sons, Ed Combs, Frank Combs, John Combs, Bill Combs, Ernest Combs, Harrison Combs and Hugh Combs, all of Catlettsburg, and two daughters, Mrs. Birchfield, of Huntington, and Mrs. Frank May, of Catlettsburg.
