DEATHS
THOMAS HOPE COX
   Thomas Hope Cox, a veteran of the Union army in the Civil war, died at midnight Saturday at his home a 212 Nineteenth street. Mr. Cox, who was 82 years old, had been an invalid for 15 years, the victim of paralysis. A fall experienced by him several weeks ago was attributed as one of the main causes of the death.
   Funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. B. F. Caudill, pastor of the Twentieth Street Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.
   Mr. Cox had been a resident of Huntington for 40 years, and was well known in the city.
   He is survived by the wife, Mrs. Virginia Cox; three daughters, Mrs. J. T. Deuverger, and Mrs. W. M. Skeens, of Bainbridge, Ga., and Miss Thelma M. Cox, of Huntington, and two sons, T. E. Cox, Portsmouth, O., and C. F. Cox, of Huntington.
