NOAH LAMBERT Mr. Lambert was a son of Elijah Lambert and Elizabeth Wilson, both of whom were of the very first settlers of the Big Sandy valley. Mr. Lambert was a soldier of the Confederacy and a devout member of the Baptist church. He is survived by a large number of relatives, among whom are three sisters, Miss Joanna Lambert and Mrs. Lexie Fuller, of Westmoreland, and Mrs. Sarah Mullens, of near Ashland. His grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews and nieces survive in great number throughout the tri-state and in many parts of the west. -The Huntington Herald-Dispatch, Thursday Morning, August 5, 1926 |
