DEATHS


THE REV. A. J. NUNN
   The Rev. A. J. Nunn, Confederate army veteran, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. J. Dalton, of 829 Twenty-first street. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Martha Nunn, four children, four brothers and three sisters.
   Mr. Nunn served with the Confeder-
ates more than three years. He was in Pickett's charge on Round Top at Gettysburg, where he was wounded. The pastor enlisted from Stokes county, N.C. under Stonewall Jackson. He held membership in Camp Garnett Post, Confederate Vererans, of this city, who will assist in the funeral, which will be announced today.
   The Rev. Mr. Nunn was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge No. 127, of Ceredo and of the Erie Encampment, No. 53, of Ceredo. He was also a member of Gragston Baptist church of Wayne, W. Va., for 45 years.
   Surviving children are: Mrs. Dalton, Mrs. R. L. Culmon and W. W. Nunn, realtor, of Huntington; and Mrs. Anna Johnson, of St. Albans. The brothers are: J. P. Mills, S. O. Mills, J. H. Mills, of this city, and J. L. Mills, of Wayne. The sisters: Mrs. Eva Dean, Mrs. S. F. Gilkerson and Mrs. Mary J. Morefield of Greensboro, N.C.
