| Charles Waugh, of Merritt's creek, whose serious
illness was reported in last week's RECORD, died suddenly
last Friday night, at eight o'clock, while sitting about
the fire, from an affection of the heart. He was an
ex-Union soldier, a member of Abe Woodyard Post, G.A.R.,
and a good citizen. He left a family of grown children.
Deceased was over 70 years of age, and enlisted in the
Union army while residing at the Falls of Guyan. -Cabell Record, Milton, W.Va., Thursday,
