• Jan. 15, 2008 - New pages for White Chapel Memorial Garden have been added to the site as this cemetery is undergoing changes. 

• Jan. 11, 2008 - Woodmere Memorial Park was updated with more names.  Two new photos for Jesse B. Dodson and Milton Cabell Dodson were added.  Thank you Lee! There were also several new obits posted to the M Surname Obits for Mo...

• Jan. 5, 2008 - New index page with photos added for White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  All Z surnames have been combined and now in the new format.  A photo page for Christus Mausoleum and Good Shepherd Mausoleum were also added to the site. Continue to use the old link until the new pages are made for the new index.

• Dec. 30, 2007 - 1961-1964 U & V Surnames added to the death records. Photos for Harvey Corns, with Carl Sharp, submitted by Lorna Corns Workman, and the Holswade Home were added. • Dec. 06, 2007 - WPA cemetery list for Earl, Hatten and part of Woodmere now on the site.

• Nov. 30, 2007 - Obituaries added for Iva Dorsey, Ronnie Miller, Hugh Petty and Ruby Sharfstein, courtesy of Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. Two detailed pages for Woodmere Abbey added to the Woodmere Cemetery list. WPA records for Baumgardner, Sheff, Stanley and Tassen Cemeteries added.

• Nov. 29, 2007 - Merritt Cemetery #1 and #2 were redesigned and added to the site, some with photos, and also the WPA Cemetery list for both Merritt Cemeteries were also put Online.

• Nov. 28, 2007 - Merritt (Three Pines) Cemetery #3 from the WPA records was added to the site along with the Merritt #3, some corrections made, from the old cemetery list. Several pages in the Vietnam Memorial section were also updated with additional information.

• Nov. 27, 2007 - New obituaries for Burgess Herrenkohl, Ponia Legg, Hazel Megginson, and David C. Dean were added.  Submitted by Martha Rehm. Mark Taylor also submitted the obit for his family member, Okey E. Clark. Woodmere memorial was updated with names from Woodmere Abbey.

• Nov. 26, 2007 - Addition of a new section devoted to the WPA Cemetery Records for Cabell County.  Fifteen cemeteries have been added already with more being added every few days. A new cemetery photo for Genevieve Mounts, bur. Woodmere, added to Waugh Cemetery page for proof of burial elsewhere and the FGS for Manford Ranson is now Online.

• Nov. 25, 2007 - Updated Memorial pages for Roger Childers, Michael Ransbottom and Rodney Ranson plus photo of Rodney Kent Ranson added to the Ranson - Vietnam Memorial page.  Thank you Janice Eddy for the photograph of Rodney.  New obits for Frances C. Beach, & Eugene Durton (Dirton) submitted by Martha Rehm added to site.

• Nov. 22, 2007 - New photo for the West Virginia INCO Industrial Champions of 1928, submitted by Mark Taylor, has been added to the site.

• Nov. 21, 2007 - Names added to the Woodmere Memorial Park pages. Obituary for Oma I. Rolfe, courtesy of Heck Funeral Home, was also added.

• Nov. 20, 2007 - Obituaries posted for Isabelle Ashworth, Clara Medford Dickerson, Ursula Pierce, Cecil Reed Patterson,  Sidney H. Steele and Mary B. Saunders.

• Nov. 18, 2007 - Obit for Lola Setliff, courtesy of Heck Funeral Home now on the site.  New additions to Woodmere Memorial Park, including the completed list for Woodmere Abbey of Peace Mausoleum, also Online.

• Nov. 12, 2007 - New obituaries posted in the obit section for Edith MacPherson, Asa LeGrand, Robert J. Hughes and Ira S. Burford, along with several moved over from the old to new pages.  Additional names added to Woodmere along with a Map and detailed pages for four deluxe sections in Woodmere Abbey Mausoleum. One page of L surnames added to the 1961-64 death records with more coming soon.

• Nov. 09, 2007 - Waugh Cemetery, with updates and corrections from old list, now on the site. Revised photo page for Carmel F. Shy added. The obituaries for April 2007, Robert Jimison, James Scarberry, Pearl Smith and Clarcia Mays, from Heck Funeral Home have also been added to the site.

• Nov. 08, 2007 - The October 2007 obituaries from Heck Funeral Home have now been completed on the site. Names added were Ruth Dillion, Helen Kingery, David Smith, Della Nutter, Nina Scarberry, Jeremy Chapman and Ruby Williams. 1961-1964 X-Z Surnames added to the death records.

• Nov. 07, 2007 - Woodmere Memorial Park has been updated with more entries.  Also obituaries for Robert Gronlund, George Murdock, Shield Brumfield, Deborah Sue Ellis, Le'Ori-auna Wilson, Harold D. • Oct. 26, 2007 - Several hundred names from Woodmere Memorial Park are now online.  Look for this file to grow to several thousand very soon! Partial file for 1957-1960 M Surnames death records now Online.
