BOLIEK, Sidney G.S. G. BOLIEK DIES AT 75- Sidney G. Boliek, 75, of 919 Thirteenth Street, a retired Huntington building contractor, died unexpectedly yesterday at his home.  He was born April 27, 1881, in Hickory, N.C., a son of the late Davidson and Candus Miller Boliek.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church.  He retired four years ago after 40 years as a building contractor in Huntington. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Minnie L. Boliek; two daughters, Mrs. O.F. Moses of Huntington and Mrs. J. S. Wollum of Covington, Ky.; three sons, Cecil and G.B. Boliek of Huntington, and Paul Boliek of St. Albans; four brothers, W.A. Boliek of Decatur, Ill., M. L. Boliek of Clew, Va., T.F. Boliek of Hickory, N.C., and A.O. Boliek of Clemson, N.C., and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Diehl, Mrs. H.D. Heavener, and Mrs. A.L. BOWLES, Emma M.Mrs. Emma M. Bowles, 61, widow of the late Dr. W. H. Bowles, of Milton, died Thursday in a local hospital.  She was a lifelong resident of Milton and an active member of the Milton Baptist Church.  A son, Dr. W. C. Bowles, of Milton and two daughters, Mrs. P. G. Corbitt and Miss Gladys Bowles of Williamstown, W. Va., survive her.  Funeral services are to be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Milton Baptist Church, Rev. W. J. BOWLING, Lavonia EstelleMrs. Lavonia Estelle Bowling, 82, of 1058 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington, W. Va., died Thursday, Jan. 6, 1983, in an area hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, by the Rev. William DeMoss.  Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born Nov. 30, 1900, in McDowell County, W. Va., a daughter of the late George Henry and Sarah Thomas Miles Bowles. She was preceded in death in 1858 by her husband Charles R. Bowling. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Robert C. Ferris (Billie Jean) of Castile, N.Y., Mrs. James L. Bryant of Huntington, and Mrs. Kathy McKown of Barboursville, W. Va. , one son Charles Robert Bowling, Jr. of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Irene McCrickard of Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. Charles Fritz of Cardinal, Ky.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at Chapman’s Mortuary. -The Herald-Dispatch, Saturday, January 8, 1983

BOWLING, Richard LewisMr. Richard Lewis Bowling, 37 of Huntington, W. Va., died Saturday July 19, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the VA Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:30p.m. Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary.  Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.  He was born Oct. 29, 1937 in Huntington, a son of Lavonia Bowles Bowling of Huntington and the late Charles Bowling.  He was a disabled veteran.  Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Robert Ferris of Perry, N. Y., Mrs. James (Eloise) Bryant of Huntington and Kathy McKown of San Francisco, Calif.: two brothers, George Bowling of Perry, N. BOWMAN, Philomen
Philomen BOWMAN, 3 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Bowman of LeSage, W. Va., died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock.  The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 o'clock this morning. Interment will be at Greenbottom cemetery.  Survivors are her parents, six sisters, Mrs. M. S. Kelly of Birmingham, Ala., Miss Lestie Bowman of Huntington, Erna, Evelyn, Eloise and Rena Bowman, all of LeSage, and four brothers, Robert, Theodore, Denver, and Morris, also of LeSage.  Mrs. Bowman is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.
