FIFE, Mrs. Nancy M. Eighty-five years old, who died at her home on Nine Mile creek Wednesday afternoon of pneumonia, will be buried Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted from the Mt. Union Baptist church on Seven Mile creek, at 2 o'clock. The Rev. A. H. Reese will officiate. Burial will be at the Green Bottom cemetery. Mrs. Fife is well known in the county, having been a resident here since 1861. She is survived by six sons, Joseph Fife and Able Fife, both of Crown City, O., George Fife, of Columbus, O., John Fife, of Huntington, David Fife, of Ceredo, W. Va., Philip Fife, of LeSage, W. Va., and two daughters, Mrs. Lucretia Jefferson, of Barboursville, W. Va., and Mrs. Elmira Knight of LeSage. Forty-eight grandchildren and 38? great grandchildren also survive. -The Herald-Dispatch, Friday morning, January 4, 1929
