Albert, the 19-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Gibson, died Saturday, of
typhoid fever. The remains were laid to rest Sunday in the Tassen burying

JOHN L. GILLARD — Sixty-eight years old, colored, of 1661
Eighth avenue, who died yesterday morning at his home after a short illness,
will be buried tomorrow in Spring Hill cemetery following funeral services
at 2:30 o'clock at the home with Rev. P. W. Cook, pastor of the First
Baptist Church, officiating. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lena Holmes
Gillard, formerly of Gallipolis, O., and a brother, H. J. Gillard, of
