Mrs. Loyis A. Gunnoe Dies; Funeral Will Be Tomorrow
Mrs. Loyis Alzada Gunnoe, 51, of 3347 Norwood Road, died yesterday in a Huntington hospital after an illness of six months.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p. m. (DST) at Crossroads Methodist Church by the Rev. John Geary and the Rev. Denver Dickens.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Born February 19, 1912, in Cabell County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Bessie Bias LeGrand of Huntington and the late Ollie Le Grand.  She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church and the Crossroads Homemaker's Club.
Survivors in addition to the mother include a daughter, Mrs. Clayton Spurlock; a son, Ronald Gunnoe; a sister, Mrs. Alma Broughman, and five grandchildren, all of Huntington. Friends may call at the Beard Mortuary today after 4 p. m. (DST). - The Herald-Dispatch, Thursday Morning, September 5, 1963
