Ellen Irene Hicks, 86, of Milton went home to be with the
Lord on Monday, May 14, 2007 in Hospice House of Huntington.
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 17,
2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Rev. Dickie Jobe
officiating. Burial will follow in Bias Chapel Cemetery, Milton.
She was born February 2, 1921 in Lawrence County, OH, a daughter
of the late Roy M. and Ollie Fetty Meadows. She was also
preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Bernard Meadows.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Ray Hicks; her three
children, Gary Lee and Judith Hicks of Salem, OH, Linda and Lee
Radcliff of Huntington, and Steven Hicks of Milton; sister,
Peggy and Bill Meadows of Glenwood; brother, Shelby and Shirley
Meadows of Milton; three grandchildren; five great
grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Flowers will be
accepted or donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at Heck Funeral
Home, Milton.
