GEORGE JARVIS IS DEAD — George Jarvis, a former resident of this city, died at Westen yesterday, where he has been for almost eighteen years past. He was almost ninety years of age. More than seventy years ago, he was a railroad engineer in England. He is the father of John and Joseph Jarvis and Misses Sarah, Emma and Ida Jarvis, all of this city. His remains will arrive here tonight and will be interred at Spring Hill tomorrow. -The Huntington Advertiser, Friday Evening, September 14, 1900
