REID, Frank T. Frank T. Reid, Seventy-seven of 331 Fourteenth street, died last night in a local hospital after a lingering illness. Mr. Reid was manager of the Arcade Recreation Center for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1956. He has been a resident of Huntington for the past 36 years, and was a member of the South Side Methodist Church and the Huntington Elks Lodge 313. He is survived by his wife, the former Georgia M. Cook; one son, George F. Reed of Billings, Mont.; three step-children, Mrs. Ernest Johns, Mrs. Wm. Gardner, and Bernard L. Hamlin of Huntington; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Fox of Olean, N. Y. and Mrs. Lou Ireland of Fort Allegheny, Pa. The body is at the Steele Funeral Home. Friends may call after noon tomorrow. -The Herald-Dispatch, June 1, 1958
