SAUNDERS, John F. DEATH OF JOHN F. SAUNDERS - John F. Saunders passed away at the home on his son, Frank J. Saunders, on Ninth street between Sixth and Seventh avenue last evening at twenty minutes past seven o'clock.  His death was due to paralysis.  Mr. Saunders was sixty-three years of age and was at one time a prominent contractor of Virginia, his home at that time being at Gordonsville, Virginia.  The funeral service was conducted this afternoon at four o'clock from the residence of his son on Ninth street, by Rev. A. E. Zeigler.  The remains were taken to Gordonsville, Virginia, for interment. -The Huntington Advertiser, Saturday Evening, August 18, 1900

MRS. MARY B. SAUNDERS Eighty-five years old, 456 Washington Avenue, who died Sunday, will be buried in Spring Hill Cemetery following funeral services today at 2 p. m. at the Steele Funeral Home with Dr. John J.
