David Kinner married Mary Stewart 2 Oct 1819 Cabell Co. David was born 8 Oot 1800 in Hanover Co., VA, Mary 4 Nov 1802 in Giles Co., VA. They resided at Catlettsburg, Lawrence Co., KY and David died in fire 29 Jul 1851 (from newspaper clipping). I am looking for his parents. Legend says Rodham Kenner and Betsy Clay. I also have extensive information on the KENNER/KINNER and CHADWICKS of the Tri-state area.

TINSLEY

Has anyone heard of Homer and Edna Tinsley who had a small grocery in the west end of Huntington? They had three sons, William, Richard and ?. My father was Chester Park Tinsley and he owned Tinsley's Sunrise Creamery on Norwood Avenue across from the cemetery and next to the state asylum. Thank you.

KELLY, BURGESS

I am trying to help my mother inlaw to try and find some of her ancestors. William A. Kelly he was born in Virginia on Sept. 5th 1834 and died in Ohio in 1901. His father was from Ireland and his mother was from Virginia. He married Jane Burgess in about 1856. She was born in Virgina Feb. 10th, 1840 and died also in Ohio in 1901. We are told that Jane Burgess was an Native American. If any one has any information on either I would appreciate it. I am looking for information on the father of Garland Conley. Garland was born 1777, and was the son of Susanna. He had a brother Baily and a sister Bridget , who married Roberty Lilly of Fluvanna Co. There is mention of an uncle John and there is a cousin Thomas who may have been born in Dublin IRL. and came to Pulaski Va. in 1772. Garland settled in Logan Co. Va. along with most of his relitives.

I am interested in any information on the Peery/Perry, Cartmill and Harrison families of early Cabell Co. These families came from Tazewell Co., VA, and were in Cabell Co. by 1810 or earlier.
