Hoping for some information about my grandfather, William Ernest Buckley, born in Kanawha County. My father, Clarence B. Buckley, was born in 1915 and was a "late-life" baby, so I'm thinking Grandpa was perhaps 50 years old when my father was born. Grandpa married Minerva Cash, from the Winfield area. The 1810 census of Kanawha Co listed Benjamin Kelly as head of household with 2 males and 2 females 0-10, one male and one female 26-45. Benjamin is not on the 1820 Census. Can anyone tell me anything about this family? Could he have moved to Jefferson Co., TN. A Benjamin Kelly(Kelley) showed up there in 1820. He was born in VA. Looking for information on my grandfather Harry Hoestine Wise. Born 1880-95 in either WVa or possibly Va. Died in a coal mining accident in WVa in the 1920's. Married to a Rosa Rotan, had 2 children, Leontine who died as a child and my father Harry II who died in 1965 in Ohio. Rosa died in 1977. She was from the Fayetteville area, and lived in Wheeling in late 30's through the 50's. Possible Indian connections. on 8:07 AM 01/21/2001

David Bun Foster was b 1884 in Kanawha County and married Jala Russell of VA. They spent much of their adult lives in Braxton County (I found birth and death records for several children there), and they are both buried at Newville Cemetery in Braxton County. I would like to find the Marriage of William Hastings, s/o Simeon & Sarah Hastings to Susan Minerva Jarrell, d/o Madison & Susan Minerva Jarrell. They were united in marriage in Aberdeen, Ohio on February 10, 1861. I found this date in the WV Heritage Encyclopedia Vol. 4, in Charleston WV.. I am looking for Charles or Charlie Brown who married Elizabeth Belcher around 1910-1919 in WV. There are a lot of Belchers in Kanawha Co. so I thought I would try here. I do not have much to go on but their names. They are my husband's great grandparents. I remember that his grandmother said that Charlie was a miner and 1910-1919 is when they started having children. By my guess they would have been born either 1880's or 1890's.
