I am looking for any info on my g-g-grandfather, George W. WALTON. He was born 15 Mar 1863 in Charleston, WV. However, I sent of for his birth certificate for that date and they didn't have anything on it, so either the exact date or place may not be correct. He first shows up on the 1870 Census in Nicholas county with the Anderson HUMPHRIES family. They raised him, I do not know who his parents were or what happened to them, or if George had any siblings. George married Mary Susan "Mollie" RAMSEY. I'm not sure if they were married in WV or after they moved to KS. George died from complications from a mining accident 30 Apr 1899 in Stippville, Cherokee Co., KS. As I have been at a dead end here for over ten years, I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions anyone may have. on 6:04 AM 11/10/2000

Researching my Grandmother, Ola Mae Prather she was born in a now defunct coal town that was called Elmo it was near Hawks Nest State Park. Her death certificate lists her father as James Marion Prather his death certificate has him buried in Ceder Grove Cemetery the one on the hill across from the little brick church on Rt 60. I have been unable to find his grave site or any information about him other than his death date and that his fathers name was Pleasen Prather. I can't find either of them in census records any help would be appreciated on 7:28 AM 11/26/2000
