I am trying to track down my gg grandfather Levi Cantrell. He was married at least twice and had a daughter Gracie bca 1900. He may have had other children by Gracie's mother. He had another daughter Ida in Nov 1900 by Bettie McClintock (bca 1884). Other children with Bettie are George bca 1907 and Zembra bca 1908. I found Bettie in the Kanawha Co Census in Big Sandy Twp on Morris Creek Rd, taken on 06 May 1910. She had been widowed and Zembra was 21 months old, so by my math, Levi had to have died after Dec 1907. Bettie was also caring for Levi's daughter Gracie at this time. I know Bettie married into the Mullins family sometime before 1930, when my g grandmother Ida died She was listed in Ida's obit as Mrs. Bettie Mullins. If you know anything about any of these people, I would greatly appreciate your help! These ancestors are a brick wall to me! on 5:33 PM 04/17/2000

I am looking for family of Rachel Ann Walker Grubb Hudnall born June 4, 1857 in Mercer co. Va Wva. Was married November 4, 1878 in Kanawha co. to Thomas Michael Grubb. She had brothers that lived in Kanawha co. William and Charles (Charlie) Walker. She also had two other brothers Christopher and Brown but do not know where they lived. On her death record listed a William Walker as her father. On census of 1880 it listed her parents being born in Va. But have tried finding them to no avail. It was said that her parents lived on Davis Creek and was buried there but do not know when. Rachel and Thomas lived in the Cabin Creek area and raised their childern there. the oldest being my grandfather David Bradford Grubb, other children were Alice, Henry, Owen, Lurie, and Virgie. Also another son Charles which was killed on Christmas day 1905 in Kanawha Co. Please if anyone knows of theses Walkers I would appreciate any information. thank you very much on 5:43 PM 04/17/2000

MORRIS LEAVITT was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide Co. He married Elizabeth ???. And according to what my family has, they had one daughter Carol. It is unknown whom she married but she was a Special Education Teacher and lived in mid west. The brother to Morris LEAVITT was Wallace LEAVITT and wife was Ruby Rhodes story says they had no children. Seeking verification on that. These two were the children of Leroy or Levi Edward Leavitt "Ed" and Katherine CARTE.
