I am seeking any type information on the YORK family. Anthony (Tony) immigrated from Germany to the U.S. in 1880. Was naturalized in 1896. Married to Virginia ??? who was born in WV. Lived in Kanawha Co. close to Magazine (Hollow) Branch. Also searching for information on his brother, John YORK, married to Stella (Sariskus). John was born in Germany also and immigrated to U.S. in 1883. Naturalized in 1902. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking further information on Bazil and Mary (WILLIAMS) TYLER who married 13 July 1821 Kanawha County. Family listed in 1850 Kanawha County Census as Bazzel age 45, Mary age 42, Mary E. age 17, Eliza age 15, John H. age 10 (married Viney Williams 1862), James F. age 7, and Catherine F. age 4. Would especially like to know if William W. TYLER born about 1825 was also their son.

His son, Robert Lee Carter, was my gfather, He was one of seven children. Also looking for David McCoy, whose daughter, Elizabeth, married John Willam Legg. He lived in the Mason County area. I am looking for the descendents of Addison/Anderson TODD b. abt 1813 d. 1889. He is listed in the 1870 census Kanawha Co. WV, with wife Mary J. b. abt 1828 and children Clarkston TODD b. abt 1852; James H. TODD b. abt 1854; Amos Mansfield TODD b. abt 1856; Emily J. TODD b.abt 1858. Addison TODD had a brother James H. I am trying to locate the "SMITH FAMILY BOOK". I know this is like looking for sand on the beach, but that is the name I got. The book is about the early Smith Family of Kanawha/Mason County. This is the family of SAMUEL SMITH who was married to JANE EDWARDS, (of New York). Samuel Smith was the son of JAMES SMITH of Rockbridge Co. VA. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

HILL, BROOKS- Searching for information on Charles W. Hill, the son of Jonathan and Roxy Ann Warner Hill who settled in Putnam County sometime around the year 1815. Charles is calulated to have been born sometime around the year 1816 and died April 9, 1862 at the age of 46. He married a Sarah Brooks from Malden, WV and they had at least one child, Frances, born November 20, 1853. Charles is listed in the 1860 Kanahwa census living in dwelling number 2039.Any information onn these individuals or their descendants would be appreciated. I have lots of information that I'm willing to share about Charles' parents and siblings.
