I am looking for information on Alexander WILLIAMS who was born 1837 in Rockbridge Virginia to Lewis and Mary Williams. He married Ann Eliza STEHPENS 30 Nov 1865 in Kanawha County. He was a coal miner. Known children George born 1860, Robert born 1867, Lewis E. born 1869, Charlotte S. born 1872. I believe he server in the Civil war starting 1864. I do not know if they stayed in Kanawha County until they died & I have no dates of death for either of them. I am preparing to do a project: family tree of my father Emidio DiGirolamo,an Italian immigrant who lived with his wife Marta in CrownHill Wv...worked in the mines.He brought his brother Guiseppe and his wife Elvira and 2 children Michelina, Tomassina over from Italy circa 1915 to work in the mines also. Guiseppe died circa 1921-24 from the mines.My brothers born in Crown Hill are: Giacomo 5/3/19,Davis 11/26/20, Fiore 5/26/22, my sister Domenica 7/20/23 was born there also. Guiseppe had a son Domonic born there circa 1921. Guiseppe also bought a farm in Kanawha Cy shortly after his arrival to USA I am looking for genealogy information on these occurances to further my ancestoral family tree, on 6:21 AM 5/20/99
